Shurvon 'shaynlicia' Haynes, African-American woman, Visual Artists, social media blogger and fine arts visionary! Born and raised in Seattle, Washington.
Fine Arts Director and creator of her very own Fine Arts Designer Series featuring original abstract collage paintings, jewelry and decorative objects.
Her uniquely titled 'art peaces' have been featured in several art venues and online artists websites. Including the Seattle Times and The Thunderword newspaper articles.
She also collaborated with other artists and articipants in making a International Public Art Quilt (I.P.A.Q) that is now in Ghana, Africa at the African Artist Alliance Gallery in Accra.
Although her desire to be a visual artists started at a very young age, she just recently started showing her personal art paintings a few years ago at local art shows within her community.
"This journey has been adventurous but a very necessary process for me to experience what was needed to visualize my artists goals."
It is my mission to utilize my creative skills as a artists for social change and to bring awareness to important issues such as scoliosis and the importance of having a fine arts education in our society.
Each painting created for Fine Arts by Shurvon has its own style and often times may look completely different from the other while maintaining her own personal touch. This is done intentionally by the artist because she does not intend to have just one creative look for her custom designed handmade art images that are the result of her personal theory of what visual fine art is and what it can be.
Artist are not required to be stuck in the old traditional ways of waiting to have their art discovered by the experts to feel validated or important in the art world.
"The best part about being an artists is to find innovative ways to present your art beyond the undefined limits of opportunities."
Look forward to seeing more of her art peaces in the next six months of the Fine Arts Theory Designer Series and the first edition of the Fine Arts by Shurvon, journal and poetry book that will be available for the upcoming holiday season.
