This weekend was one of the best I've had this summer. There were so many great moments with family and friends!
FRIDAY: Umoja Fest 2013 at Judkins Park, celebrating the spirit and history of the Black Community in the Pacific Northwest even in the RAIN!!! The weather was bright and sunny on Saturday and Sunday ( JUST IN TIME FOR THE PARADE) THANK -GOODNESS!
SUNDAY: Spiritual Fellowship, Artist 2 Africa campaign meetings, Seafair, Animal sights i-seen =
SNAKES, HORSES, DOGS AND BUMBLEBEES , Sounds and SOME OF THE THINGS i - ate = FRUIT PUNCH, HAMBURGERS, HOT DOGS, TACOS, CORN, ICE CREAM, CUPCAKES - Oh my - what a good day!
SATURDAY: MY FAMILY had a gathering at the park. We had the most blessed time seeing each other and eating some GOOD OLE' SOUL FOOD, made by my cousin who is a professional chef! Taking pictures with my relatives who were visiting from out of town. Dancing, eating, kids playing, people laughing and just have a great, great time!
